The candidates on the Democratic ticket were the first to turn out to vote on Election Day.
Hillary Clinton and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, showed up just after 8 a.m. Tuesday to cast their ballot near their home in Chappaqua, NY. Clinton's closest aide, Huma Abedin, trailed the couple as they walked into the Douglas Grafflin Elementary School.
Voters in line at the polling place cheered the presidential hopeful as she arrived, shouting "Madam President!" When the Clintons exited the polling site, supporters resounded their cheers, yelling "You've got this!" and "Hillary! Hillary!"
